Romanco provides you with two types of services. You can send us prints printed by your preferred photo lab for our binding only services, or use our Printing Mounting and Binding services.   Allow approximately 2 weeks for average production time from FTP transfer files or your prints (longer if you are sending files on CD or DVD).    Option A- Mounting & Binding   This option is for photographers and studios who prefer designing and printing themselves. Simply send us your finished prints (not coated) with a copy of your order. Option B- Printing, Mounting & Binding   For studios and photographers who prefer option B, place email order orders@romancoalbums.com , then send your pre-designed files on a CD or DVD with a copy of your order. Or send your files through our highly efficient FTP transfer service on this webside. Files should be sized exactly for the album size requested. Always design as spreads. For example, a 10x10 album should be designed as a 20x10 spread, a 10x8 vertical album should be designed as an 20x8 spread. Each spread in your album should be a seperate file. All files need to be created in JPEG in the RGB color space at high resolution, 300dpi. Images files must be color corrected and ready to print. Please follow a numering system: 001, 002, 003, etc. Be sure to include the print that will be needed for the cover window.    How to place order for Custom Album    1. On the page Place Order table select Order Option A or B Cover material and Album size you want to order     then click on the button 'Add To Cart'. 2. In Shopping Cart select: cover style, cover color, capacity, edge gilding, custom title, custom title color,     imprinting color, and type imprinting text. 3. After Checkout, an order confirmation will be emailed to you with order number and login password to upload     your images to Photo Lab, if you prefer option B. 4. Option A send your pictures (not coated) with a copy of order confirmation to us and we will mount and       bind them to your specifications. 5. Option B in the page Send Fles to Lab enter login password supplied in Shopping Cart Order Confirmation to       open Send Files to Photo Lab page. From this page you will download remote entry system ROES, an online       ordering system that allows you send your pictures files from your computer to photo lab for printing.     Lab will send prints to us and we will mount and bind them to your specifications. 6.Option B you can send your pre-designed files on CD or DVD with a copy of order confirmation from our     shopping cart and we will send them to our photo lab for printing.    Allow approximately 2 weeks in house for average production time from FTP transfer files or your prints    (longer if you are sending files on CD or DVD).    Print Safety Area Instruction    All designs should be created with a 3/8" safety margin within the design on the outside edges. We will trim 1/8" off the finished book on the three outside edges. If you will be ordering clones, submit appropriately sized files for both the orginal order and the clone order. If you are ordering a 10x10 album and a 8x8 clone, we will need 20x10 files for 10x10 album and 16x8 files for the 8x8 clone. Note that when scaling down from the larger size file to a smaller size, the safety margin is reduced, and should be accordingly adjusted so that the design is not compromised during the page block trimming. Cover print 5x5 for window 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" will be trimmed 1/2" on the four outside edges. Cover print 5x5.    Back to Top
